Hello, I am María!
I am the brand’s creative director, curator, designer, and crafter. I love to create uncommon and extraordinary accessories. A blend of atypical adornments and bespoke jewellery is our signature.
My Story.
You could say design has always run in my family, from my couturier grandmother, I learned the value of refined tailoring and the beauty of timeless styles. From my art dealing and florist mother, I inherited a passion for flowers and art. Throughout my life I’ve gathered design insights from various disciplines such as art history, ikebana, interior decoration, jewellery, silversmithing, color theory, japanese modeling sculpture, and ceramics.
Finally, in 2016, Recognising my distinct expertise in adornment and bridal aesthetics, I founded Maria Sariñana Brides. specialising in handcrafting elegant, alternative Jewellery and custom hair accessories in Mexico and Portugal. Designed for stylish weddings, events, and photography shoots, each piece is interwoven with a sense of luxury and uniqueness.
