RAW STONE Rings Tales of Enduring beauty
Contemporary stone rings: unpretentious, natural-beauties for everyday wear.
Stones have always been very symbolic for many different cultures. Gemstones and rocks have a long history of religious and cultural veneration. The ancient Egyptians wore lapis lazuli as a sign of truth and knowledge, while the Native Americans held turquoise in high esteem as a stone of protection. We pay homage to this diverse web of ideas and continue an age-old practice of individual expression and cosmic connection when we wear rings made of beautiful earth stones.
After enduring the effects of time, geological processes, erosion, and weathering earth stones have produced beautiful textures, patterns, and colors. They have endured the effects of erosion and weathering, and their uneven surfaces reveal tales that date back thousands of years.
Our selected rocks, like chalcedony, onyx, and obsidian, have been sourced from the rich mineral soil of central Mexico. Their inherent oneness with nature is reflected in their raw beauty and their one-of-a-kind nature, which means that no two are alike.
We believe stone rings shine as an emblem of natural and unpretentious beauty. Crafted with care from materials from deep under the earth, they contain the echoes of age-old raw beauty. Every raw stone ring is a work of lapidary artistry, meticulously and lovingly crafted by hand.
Our stones origin and craft
Our workshop, located in Querétaro, Mexico, sources local byproduct stones rescued from quarries; while crafting each ring by hand. We believe in a philosophy of sustainability by obtaining all of our raw materials from nearby suppliers. Our skilled lapidary artists carefully craft each ring by hand using age-old techniques and elemental equipment to avoid mass production, which is better for the environment. Our crafts are guaranteed to be original while also showing deep respect for traditional artisan techniques and the environment they originate from.
Our Limited Series
At the heart of our philosophy lies a commitment to both authenticity and environmental responsibility. By procuring raw materials from local suppliers and collaborating with artisans steeped in traditional knowledge, we ensure that every ring is not only original but also embodies respect for the land from which it originates. Every ring has a story to tell about sustainability, custom, and this is shown in the rough beauty of the stones we use that come from close by and in the careful work of our artists. Pairing up our design and production with our goal of reducing waste and preserving the quality of our craftsmanship, we retain a small inventory of one-of-a kind rings.
In our RAW series, we enhance their uneven, rough, and raw surface as a testimony to their endurance and old age. Their natural, unrefined beauty is what distinguishes raw rock stone rings from the others.
For our STONE series, we focused on locally sourced chalcedony, obsidian, and onyx gemstones in beautiful earth tones, like mahogany, snakeskin, ash, burnt siena, umbre and clay. Hand carved and polished in geometric contemporary cuts, they are versatile, as they can look minimalist when used alone or bold and maximalist when stacked together.

Obsidian, a naturally occurring volcanic glass, emerges from the fiery depths of Earth's volcanic activity. When lava swiftly cools upon extrusion from a volcano, with minimal crystal growth, obsidian is born. This igneous rock boasts a sleek, glossy appearance, embodying the raw power and beauty of nature's forces.
Chalcedony, whose name comes from the Latin word chalcedonius, is a type of silica mix mede of quartz and moganite rocks. While quartz has a trigonal crystal structure, moganite has a monoclinic structure, which makes chalcedony unique. Chalcedony comes in a wide range of hues, from white and gray to blue and brown, and some pieces are almost black. It has a shiny sheen and different degrees of translucency.
Onyx, a captivating variety of chalcedony, presents itself as a parallel-banded wonder within the realm of oxide minerals. Alongside agate, its layered counterpart, onyx distinguishes itself through its bands, which run parallel rather than curved. These bands exhibit a captivating array of hues, ranging from deep black to a myriad of colors.

Wearing a raw rock stone ring may aid in emotional healing, balance promotion, and creative enhancement. It's like carrying a bit of the earth's essence, which can be a source of strength and consolation in our ever-changing world. Research on their usefulness have been undertaken, according to Forbes Magazine, and they are supposed to function on three separate levels: placebo effect, cross cultural, and piezoelectric or vibrational medicine.

Our stone rings are made from onyx, obsidian, and chalcedony, each possess varying degrees of durability, but they are not considered fragile stones.
Onyx: Onyx is a relatively durable stone, scoring around 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, with 10 being the hardest stone available in nature. While it can withstand everyday wear, it may be susceptible to scratching or chipping if subjected to rough treatment.
Obsidian: Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass and is relatively brittle compared to other stones. It scores around 5 to 5.5 on the Mohs scale, making it more prone to breakage or chipping if dropped or struck with force.
Chalcedony: Chalcedony is a cryptocrystalline form of silica and varies in hardness depending on its specific mineral composition. Typically, it ranges from 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, similar to onyx. While it is generally durable, some varieties of chalcedony may be more prone to fracturing or chipping.
